After smashing all previous with each of his last three Christmas releases, Aamir Khan has locked the Christmas 2014 weekend for his next film directed by Rajkumar Hirani – the director of classics like Munnabhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munnabhai and 3 Idiots.
Sources say the film could release on 19th December 2014, allowing the film to take advantage of the extended Christmas – New Year holiday season.
Aamir made the announcement on Twitter, without announcing a final date “Hey guys, PK release date is finally locked…. this Christmas…. my lucky date!!! Jai Ho!!!”
Soon after the announcement, there are murmurs within the industry that Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead, could be postponed to a later date. There are also reports that Yash Raj Films’ is targeting a December release for Manish Sharma’s Fan starring Shahrukh Khan.
It’ll be interesting to see if any film would go on to clash with PK and Aamir Khan during Christmas.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, PK also stars Anushka Sharma, Sanjay Dutt, Sushant Singh Rajput and Boman Irani.
FAN cannot be released in December during winter. It needs to be release during peak summer in association with Orient n Khetaan !!!!!
and now that’a slam to aamir’s fans from aamir.who is now afraid to release his strong p.k in june and changes it’s date to christmas.how coward he is?but whatever he does,no one can save him this time from HNY break each and every single record of d3.while SRK’s FAN will destroy p.k in christmas.KING IS BACK,now revenge will be taken against revenge khan.

I am disappointed that the film is being shifted to december. .it should have released in june itself. .but it will surely be the best film of the year n that is guaranteed due to the cast n crew involved in it n may even be a bigger hit than dhoom 3 both critically n commercially

Agar pk christmas par release hoti h to uske samane ek hi maksat hoga……..HNY ke maha records ko todena…….and if fan would release at same time,than who cares about pk. It would be neglected by family audiences due to its content. So bo collection would be …domestic=175 cr and overseas=105 cr and total worldwide=350 cr.
The best thing is that now HOLIDAY is shifted for a June 6 release…….That means it will be the first big release after IPL…….AKSHAY now has a Blockbuster in his kitty……Holiday has shaped up very well as per the insiders……And Akki will be remembered for his Iconic Role…..!!

FAN infront of PK- it will be an annihilation, armageddon type destruction of Thakurs career… Once and for all so I hope Sarkar releases his biopic on the confused lungi/ lallu fan- “being whoever FAN” and Aamir releases his tale on aliens living in the Paglapur village under the guise of their lungis- dont worry guys n girls who do not like military confrontations as this will be one battle finished by lunch first day when exhibitors start cancelling FAN screenings in favour of PK…!
2014 Christmas too will end with Fireworks galore just like 2013, 2009, 2008 and 2007 where Santa Claus arrived in the form of Ace Khan to bring us endless joy and seasonal merry…! Jai Ho

Shameless Aamir is again taking holiday release as he is afraid to release on non-holiday. He is intimidating Bombay velvet which announced that date more than a year ago.
looser ak always choose christmas,becoz dat time is free and becoz that is the end month of d year,so no films release,such a looser amir khan,ashe know other time his films wont do well.
