It’s an interesting comparison because Piku and Kapoor & Sons had similar weekends at the box office. Kapoor & Sons took a better opening on Friday and both films would have been on the same level if not for the Indo Pak cricket match on Saturday. Sunday collections were at around the same level too, with Kapoor & Sons collecting a little more than Piku.

- Piku was competing against Bombay Velvet in Week 2, while Kapoor & Sons will be up against Batman vs Superman and Rocky Handsome.

I guess Deepika made a mistake of signing the hollywood film…..somehow i feel…..May be she wanted to go one up over PC, but both are at different career point as far as bollywood is concerned….
PC has seen the success over the years and it is a step ahead for her going international and hollywood……unlike Deepika, who is currently on the top, and should have concentrated more on domestic movies..
Aishwarya did the same mistake of going to hollywood too early and finally ended up being neither here nor there.

Both Piku and Kapoor And Sons are cinematic gems..
Kapoor and sons also have fantastic business in overseas by collecting 2.9 million… it will be the 3rd Super hit of this year if it manages to cross 4.5 crore today.
In all honesty I didn’t like piku at all …!!!
It was just an overrated flick .
