Resul Pookutty’s yet another dream came true when he was honoured by none other than the great Amitabh Bachchan. It could be recollected that Resul has worked with the Big B in the past and created magic with Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Black.
Technicians in Bollywood don’t get the recognition they deserve but post the Indian success at the Oscar, people in India are beginning to realise that there is a lot more to a film than just the lead actors and director.
The Oscar winner clearly touched by the honour, hailed the city of Mumbai “I am very touched and honoured by this gesture. I have dedicated my Oscar to India and my city Mumbai because of its undying spirit. Mumbai is my karmabhoomi and it feels really special to be honoured in this city.”
