A. In the current scenario, Ranveer Singh is by far the most bankable newcomer in the industry. His last two films Ram Leela and Gunday have collected close to 200 crore. But things can change pretty quickly. Not too long ago, we made a comparison between Imran Khan and Ranbir (click to read), and it was very close between the two. That was when Rockstar released, since then, Ranbir has raced way ahead and Imran can no longer be put in the ‘bankable solo star’ category.
So if the choice is between Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra, Sushant Singh Rajput, Ayushmann Khurana and Aditya Roy Kapur.. our pick would be Varun Dhawan. He has the talent, looks, dancing skills, mass-appeal and screen presence.. to attract both the multiplex and single-screen audience.

My bet on Varun Dhawan, everything is natural about him, he looks good on screen and good acting skills, Ranveer has shown his great talent in just 5 films but i don’t connect with him. I likes Arjun kapoor too but he needs to work hard a lot on his acting skills for long run. Guys who were asking why indicine missed Akshay and Ajay name, fact is its not indicine it was the questioner who missed their name, admin just put the question of him on the top, so just chill guys.
There’s another Rohit on this site, I guess.
Ranveer surely seems to be ahead in race only behind Ranbir when it comes to young actors. In future, I think its going to be a tough fight between him and Varun Dhawan (who’ll thrive in romantic movies) to become the youngest superstar. They are talented and have a lot of potential of doing even better in future.
Arjun Kapoor and Sidhhart Malhotra will need to improve their acting skills, they will be close too.
Varun dhawan, tiger shroff and sidharth Mallhotra. Ranveer is overrated. He will be another Chanky pandey who gave big hit at the beginning of his career much bigger than today’s newcomer. And pls don’t include ranbeer with khans and hritik.
Only Shahid gave tough compition to ranbir, 2 or more film change everything.
@Babaji, really lolz Ajey is a versatile actor and no one can act the way he acts. he can act any role and u can check his movies deewana,raincoat,bksingh,outim,khakee,sos,…….etc.
if his last two movies didnt work it doesnt mean he is just normal actor.

Without a doubt Ranveer Singh is the best newcomer after Ranbir Kapoor. Tremendous energy, good screen presence, talent, good connect with audience, equally good PR. His BO record is also improving. He is the one to watch out for.

Indicine..not as a new comer ..U said only Ranbir made it big in last decade but Emraan also made it big.He is also a big star.
First things first indicine pls dont include ranbeer with the likes of khans,hritiks n akki… They can just on their name give a 150 cr grosser but ranbir cant even make it to 70 cr newcomers in two years will be ahead of him. Siddharth is the best as he has shown tremendous growth in acting from soty to ek villain while varun will be another imran khan same acting in all films ppl will get bore of him I don’t see much change in him from soty to mth to hskd… You are definitely wrong about varun one flop and he will be gone… I think siddharth will be a future superstar like the khans

siddarth malhotra is useless dont hav acting skills and no dancing skills only hav k.jo backing there are better luking models thn him look at tiger sheroff who put everything into dance,fights he need to improve his acting skills ayushman is no backing like siddarth but he is better actor hav talent in singin and music finally siddarth malhotra hav k.jo,good pr and zero talent will rearch the level of dino morea in acting

Arjun will defenitely become a superstar he has anti-hero kind of look which not even a single newcomer have and he is imporving day by day. Even in gunday the acton sceen was better perfomed by arjun and romance seen by runveer. Shahid had debut 10 years back 1 one more flop he will be out of race.
