Aamir did not have a release in 2010, 2011(DG not counted) and 2015.
Still, Aamir is at par with Salman with 4 HGOTYs in last 8 Years.
When, Aamir Salman both had a release, Aamir beat Salman 3 times while Salman has beaten Aamir only once in 2012.
All other 3 times when Salman got HGOTY, Aamir didn’t have a release.
