UTV Motion Pictures has announced the release date of the industry’s most ambitious film to date, Mohenjo Daro directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film will release in theatres on Friday, January 22nd 2016, giving it two holidays (Sunday and Republic Day) in its first week.
The announcement of the release date also means that Hrithik Roshan will have no movie release in 2015. From the time he made his debut with Kaho Naa.. Pyaar Hai in 2000, Hrithik hasn’t had a release in year 2005, 2007, 2009 and now 2015.

Mohenjo Daro, starring Hrithik and newcomer Pooja Hegde, will be directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. Emmy Award-winning international costume designer April Ferry has been signed to design the costumes for the entire cast. Oscar-winning music composer A.R. Rahman will compose the music.
The film, a love story set in the Indus Valley civilisation, will be jointly produced by Disney India’s Studio business and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions.
The first shooting schedule will begin in South Africa from October 2014, soon after the release of Bang Bang.

@ajay rocks, don’t know about Ajay releases, if he also miss 2015 than definitely it will bad for Bollywood, As 3 superstars miss the year so collection will not increase further more.But young actors have great chance to make their mark.
@suchit no dear Aamir won’t have any release on 2015. as there is no official confirmation of his next and Aamir usually taking more time to complete his films.If we count holiday release than its Salman all the way but I was talking about content as both Salman And srk working with the banner they had 100% success rate.Srk-yrf had great films together while Salman-Rajshree had blockbuster record and all 3 films comes in category of Salman most loved films.

No, his next movie dangal’s release date is not confirmed. And also next did there is no big movie is announced so he will likely release it next Christmas. And also FYI aamir also has 100% success rate with banner. While Salman and srk have 90% success rate.

I think the release date is not that good. Because people will find it hard to wake up early in the morning in winter season. January is the time of winter and that people will miss the morning shows which will be too bad for the collection of the movie since the movie will be made on a huge budget!!
