UTV Motion Pictures has announced the release date of the industry’s most ambitious film to date, Mohenjo Daro directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. The film will release in theatres on Friday, January 22nd 2016, giving it two holidays (Sunday and Republic Day) in its first week.
The announcement of the release date also means that Hrithik Roshan will have no movie release in 2015. From the time he made his debut with Kaho Naa.. Pyaar Hai in 2000, Hrithik hasn’t had a release in year 2005, 2007, 2009 and now 2015.

Mohenjo Daro, starring Hrithik and newcomer Pooja Hegde, will be directed by Ashutosh Gowariker. Emmy Award-winning international costume designer April Ferry has been signed to design the costumes for the entire cast. Oscar-winning music composer A.R. Rahman will compose the music.
The film, a love story set in the Indus Valley civilisation, will be jointly produced by Disney India’s Studio business and Ashutosh Gowariker Productions.
The first shooting schedule will begin in South Africa from October 2014, soon after the release of Bang Bang.

“Jadoo Aayega Dobara Rohitland” combination sequels of KMG and ZNMD.

I thought @romance new_yr hates hrithik due to some other reasons.but i never knew that he has such a narrow mind that he hates hrithik and doesn’t watch his movies only becoz of his religion. Wow. Hrithik is indeed one of the most respected actors in Indian cinema. Who prefers quality over quantity. Even after doing a hardcore commercial movies like this dhoom 2 and B2, he has d guts to take risk with doing periodic epic films like JA and MD. Hats off to this man.

Even before the latest installation of the
Step Up series, ‘Step Up All In’ releases
in India there are already rumours of the
Indian dance deity Hrithik Roshan being
approached to be the lead in the next
project of the franchise.
Hrithik’s popularity in Hollywood is
evident with Twilight diva Kristen
Stewart claiming that she is in love with
our own resident Greek god even wants
to have his kids and we hear that the
lead lady of the current installation of
Step Up Briana Evigan is also quite a
fan. That’s not all Twitter fans of the
franchise loved the idea of having
Hrithik in the 6th installment.
Strategically too, this is a wise move
the franchise has always been a huge
money spinner in international markets
along with the US. The franchise has
also always used debut talent to create
stars rather than use well known faces.
Signing Hrithik would be a double
whammy of dance and acting talent with
good dose of desi fan following added to
the mix.
Well, all we can say is that we have our
fingers crossed and hope to see Hrithik
sizzle and showcase his moves in
Hollywood… Let’s hope that Hrithik too
is willing to STEP UP to the challenge.
