Here’s the first look poster of Pooja Hegde from Ashutosh Gowarikar’s upcoming film ‘Mohenjo Daro’. Pooja plays the role of Chaani the ‘Chosen One’.

Directed by Ashutosh Gowariker, Mohenjo Daro belongs to the era of the Indus Valley civilization that dates back to 2600 BC (more than 4600 years ago).
The film is scheduled to release in theatres on August 12.

For those who are saying this the dressing is not consistent with the history, I expect them to see the documentary of real Mohenjo Daro to know how advanced civilization they used to be. Civilization in Mohenjo Daro was one of the advanced ancient civilization like Pharaoh and Atlantis. The buildings at Mohenjo Daro used to have cooling system and the drainage system was even better engineered than those in modern cities around the world. They civilization was so rich and full of materials for their entertainment. So don’t be so historical expert before knowing the history just because you grew up thinking that ancient means backward people with backward things.Ashutosh Gowarikar researched on Mohenjo Daro for over 3 years to decide for writing a story of his move based on this subject, so he was not ignorant as well!!

the makers of MJ has researched for it quite extensively and ashutosh sir had met archaelogists from all over the whole world … he has looked in to minute details of every aspect of the film , has read all books on harrappan civilization .. according to the paleontological evidences and records we have in the world he has imagined this which looks like quite near to actually wt happened in tat era @ 2600 b.c .. so we should be proud of mr. ashu sir .. tat he has thorougly designed his artists for this magnum opus .. in MJ HRITHIK is playing as SARMAN , A FARMER ..AND SAVIOUR AND POOJA HEGDE AS A PRINCESS ….no doubt all records in danger now ….. WAITING ANXIOULSY FOR THE TRAILER ..HOPE IT WILL be releasing within a week ….
