The Mirchi Music Awards 2016 was held last night. Gerua from Dilwale was declared as the best song of 2016. The music of Bajirao Mastani, composed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, was awarded the ‘Album of the year’ trophy.

song of the year for me was humnavaa from HAK….also meri zindagi frm BHAAG JHONNY and katra katra frm ALONE din’t get noticed…feeling alienated ..

Bajirao Mastani had that good music..??? This movie is getting unnecessarily favorable in all kind of awards shows… All the actors were good.. The movie was pretty good. That’s it. I don’t think it deserves to win Best movie/director awards even… There were enough good movies and good music than this. Ranveer deserved his win. That’s all

Huhh?? BM Album of d year? It is given un necessary importnc. Ranveer priyanka performance n grandness.. I hav no issues ranveer winning the best actor in al award shows. It is one of the best performances of the year. But the movie is heavily overrated. The BO success is also bcz of the award shows that continuously held aftr the movie. Do u really think BM is better movie than Bajrangi bhaijaan , Baby, Badlapur, Tanu weds manu returns, piku,( manjhi, talwar ) no way.. it has grandness in it thats it . N do u really think it has a better music than badlapur, hamari adhuri kahani, tamasha, dilwale, bajrangi.. even in filmfare does bm deserves 10 awards? Best Actor , supporting actress,action, choreography, productn design r desrving all the other categories r undeserving.

all awards show should change award for female playback to shreya ghoshal award.she is getting overrated by so many awards.monali was more deserving for mmkd in dum laga ke hai sha.or even palak for prdp title track.this award is just given for sweetness of the singer rather than versatility of the singer.
