Salman Khan’s continued its glorious run at theatres across India, as the film collected Rs 9.22 cr on its second Friday at the domestic box office. The film has now collected Rs 173.43 cr in 8 days, at an average of Rs 21.67 per day!
The film is on course to collect around 35 crore in its second weekend and should cross the 200 crore mark on Monday. It could go on to beat the lifetime business of Chennai Express (Rs 227 cr), which released in theatres during Eid last year.
The second week business of Chennai Express was affected by the release of Akshay Kumar’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara. Kick will also be competing against an Akshay starrer, as Entertainment hits theatres next week.

Times of India published “150 crore club of India” article in which it has mentioned that only 3 idiots, CE and dhoom 3 are 200 cr films. Krrish 3 was put in the list of 150-199 cr films along with YJHD and ETT..
Most prestigious newspapers still say Krrish 3 did not cross 200 cr. Except Roshans and few not famous analyst support that 244 fake figure.
@Loki, TOI also wrote an article after Krrish 3 released that they would never publish box office articles. “No figures are trust-worthy” is what they said.
