Salman Khan’s continued its glorious run at theatres across India, as the film collected Rs 9.22 cr on its second Friday at the domestic box office. The film has now collected Rs 173.43 cr in 8 days, at an average of Rs 21.67 per day!
The film is on course to collect around 35 crore in its second weekend and should cross the 200 crore mark on Monday. It could go on to beat the lifetime business of Chennai Express (Rs 227 cr), which released in theatres during Eid last year.
The second week business of Chennai Express was affected by the release of Akshay Kumar’s Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Dobaara. Kick will also be competing against an Akshay starrer, as Entertainment hits theatres next week.

The screen count has gone down by 25-30% in the second week, with regional movies getting preferences.
It should collect close to 27 cr by sunday to enter the 200 cr club.
8th august kick will be lifetime collection 215 -220 crore not break the chennai express record due to its entirntment and after singham returns
@vikram, kick’s screens reduced to 2600 on 2nd friday.
if u count screens than dabang released on 1600screens nd collected 143cr. Later sarkar’s con2 nd jab tak hai mojo released on 2900screens nd 2600screens but collected 106cr nd 101cr(nb- it is the 1st movie released in manipulationpur, whr it collected 23cr). Also sarkar’s 170cr budgeted cartoon ratoo point one released on 3100screens but sadly collected less than JOKOMO(Darsheel safari’s sci-fi).
2nd weekend OUATIMD was released and screens numbers were decreased. Still CE collected huge 6.48cr with way less number of screens as compared to CE. KICK is still enjoying full number of screens without competition.

This weekend Kick will do around 35-40 crore and then this @chikrum will say “I think to collect 25 cr more is an impossible task for kick.”
By the end of second week Kick collection will be 220 crore and he will say “I think to collect 7 cr more is an impossible task for kick.”
Then “I think to collect 1 cr more is an impossible task for kick.”
And then he will start giving excuses why SRK was beaten badly 3 times in 1 year.
CE must be removed from this comparison as Kick has already crushed it very badly and there are only 2 big films which compete with Kick-
Dhoom 3 and Krrish 3. The third film from the third khan is not worthy of being in the company of Kick and the above 2 ATBBs.
