Jolly LLB 2 has shown phenomenal growth all across India on Day 2 at the box office. The multiplex business jumped across all metro cities, with even the Tier-2 centres picking up after a below-expectation opening on Friday.
The average jump was around the 30% range with multiplexes showing the biggest growth, while single-screen business to picked up at several centres.
The multiplex-dominated East Punjab circuit showed growth inspite of starting well on Friday, Mumbai was up and running after a sluggish start, business in the South showed good jumps too even though the film has probably lost around 25% of its business there due to strong regional releases.
The trend for Jolly LLB 2 is positive. The film has started very well on Sunday and the advance for the evening shows is solid too.
IndicineLBO: It looked like the 100 crore mark could be a struggle for the film, given the way it opened on Friday, but the growth on Saturday has made it almost a certainty – unless there is a big drop on Monday, which is unlikely given the trend. Going forward, Jolly LLB 2 has an open week too before the release of ‘Rangoon’ on February 24. Given the positive reports, we think ‘Jolly LLB 2’ will finish with lifetime business of Rs 112 crore – which is our final IndicineLBO prediction.

SRK, Aamir, Salman, Hrithik and Ajay have cross 30 crore on day 1 but Akshay has not given even a 20 crore on day 1!

Yesterday there was a statement that Akshay Kumar’s Jolly LLB 2 is struggling at the BO because of the low opening and the blame was on Akki that he is unable to get big opening numbers at the BO.
But what we usually forget in that this is actually his 4th film in a span of 12 months. Akshay is now doing what he does best(trying movies of all genres)
His cumulative collection in a year will be huge too(around 500Cr). And the most important thing is that the growth his movies receive over the weekend clearly indicates that Akshay is a superstar of a different league.
His movies cannot open to a 25-30Cr because of the volume of his releases.
Whenever any top khan has tried something different they have miserably failed{Talaash, Dhobi Ghat, Fan, Jai Ho,Raees(Underperformed)} but then we have Akshay Kumar trying movies like(Baby,SP26,OMG,Jolly llb2,Brothers,Rustom,Airlift). Not all of these were success but this is what life is(About Hits and Misses)
This guy has never said anything rubbish about anyone. One of the most dearest person in the Bollywood Industry. As a human always socially active for a right cause and most down to earth person.

BOI figures we can trust coz they have circuit wise collection data but you haven’t any. And BOI have old movie data with footfall, share profit and overseas figures etc etc but you haven’t.
My suggestion take producer figures for close trade to official figures and do post your estimates for manipulate figures like HNY, Kaabil and Raees.
