Joker has opened to a shockingly low response at the box office on Friday. The opening at places was as low 5-10%. The all India opening is around 20-25%.
A few exhibitors have reported that the occupancy for the afternoon shows is low too.
Unless Joker picks up for the evening and night shows, the opening day collections could be less than 4-5 crores nett.

Great breaking news. Now shirish wants to direct a movie with srk in which his wife farha will be the leading actress. It will be again a romantic movie and srk will be playing the role of a woman in man’s disguise and farha as a man in woman’s disguise. The movie’s title will be ”shahrukh farha ki tho baath bangayi”. Shirish is very confident of this movie breaking many records and believes that srk’s character in this movie is so special that srk would be getting a national award for this role as no actor can play a woman’s role in a man’s disguise better than srk. I think one of the most memorable and unforgettable moments in the whole of bollywood history was those 4 minutes. The 4 minutes where deepa shahi lost her mind completely to do a scene in ‘maya memsaab’ which is now bollywood’s best scene in “hall of shame” list. And we are proud of srk.

@starry. If movie reviews are any sort of indication, then ra.1 should have been the biggest grosser of all time, because every review was in its favour with an average of 3.8/5 ratings. Even 3 idiots didnt get such a high rating from the reviewers and critics. And i think you woke up just now. The ranveer singh who said such bad stuff on twitter was not the actor, but some salman hater. Forget about ranveer singh, even pm manmohan singh has no guts to say anything against salman at this moment, unless he supports bjp party.

Shirish kunder, please stop making your utter flop movies with stars like akki. You simply make the audiences sick with ur movies. what i am more worried is that salman’s ‘kick’ is going to be directed by you. The original ‘kick’ in telugu was one of the most entertaining superhit movie of recent times and please for god sake dont make a mockery of both salman and the original movie. Salman is in his best phase, on the roll, in red hot form with back to back ‘record breaking and making’ blockbusters and the last thing the fans want is another ‘jaane maan’ in the making. Shirish if you dont have any work, better try directing srk’s movies because i believe u both make an ‘ideal’ & ‘deadly’ combination or otherwise act in one of your wife’s movies, but please dont make actors like akki,salman and others to give utter flop movies to their fans.

Is it confirmed that ‘kick’ is going to be directed by kabir rather than shirish? Kick is too good a movie to be a flop, because the original was one of the most entertaining superhit telugu movie of recent times. I think shirish is a rare genius because only he could have directed the movies like TMK,JAANEMAAN and now JOKER, but who knows if by some miracle joker joins 100C club, then farha would be the most happiest and proudest wife in the world.

@shahid. Yes i agree with u, that salman caused the lives of few people, a black buck and went to jail for that. But you have to understand that it was a unfortunate and unintentional car accident with a drunken salman (so never drink & drive). The killing of an endangered black buck was really horrible, but i heard that he wanted it as some ‘trophy’ and it was really bad. And he had to count the jail bars for such crime. ‘to err is human’ we are all prone to make mistakes, some small and some big and in salman’s case it was both. Remember valmiki the author of ramayana, he too was a hardcore,cruel thief and a murderer but he later completely changed himself to become almost a sage. Similarly salman before those incidents was not as kind hearted,humble and charitable as he is right now. Those incidents in his life completely changed his approach and attitude towards life and we see the difference. And to all those who say salman ‘being human’ charity are for publicity and show off, then just ask not only the junior actors, the industry people but even those innumerable poor and needy who were helped by salman in one way or another without being publicised. And even if some believe it is only for publicity, so be it, when many poor and needy people lives can be changed and if for noble intentions, publicity is needed, then what’s wrong in that? Yes he did all those mistakes which he shouldnt have done in his life, but what is life without rising when you fall down. Salman “epitomises the extreme spectrum of the way we indians live “. Salman has suffered most set backs,more failures both personal and professional and more controversies than any other actor and still has endured everything to be what he is right now. I repeat it again i dont say salman is a perfect human, but he is awesome in whatever he does. If he gives someone a ray of hope that even if bad things happen in your life, you can still overcome the storm and succeed in your life and inspire others what’s wrong in that?
