Actor John Abraham will play the lead in the sequel to his 2011 film ‘Force’. The Abhinay Deo directed film, which also features Sonakshi Sinha in the lead, has been shot in London and Budapest.
Sources say, the film titled ‘Force 2’ has been made on a much larger scale as compared to the first film and the action sequences will also be bigger and better. John has used a body double to shoot a few sequences.
While the 2011 film was a remake of Gautham Menon’s Tamil film ‘Kaakha Kaakha’, the sequel will have a original script.

Force was a flop…But i think Force-2 will be a Hit…Because of Sequel factor,Action..But who knows anything can happen…Nothing special in script…I think it will be same so-called romantic-action movie…My prediction-Average/Hit…
John is no longer a bankable star as a solo hero (was he ever?). Still producers and directors are casting him as a solo hero….I wonder why? He couldn’t achieve even 20% of what the original Force (Kaakha Kaakha in Tamil) did both critically and commercially. That film literally skyrocketed Suriya into the top league in Tamil film industry.

I always thought John was just a pretty face but boy he proved me wrong. Yes, welcome back was bad but he has surprised me with producing movies and in good movies like Madras Cafe.
