Jannat 2 has opened to a fantastic response all over the country. The film collected Rs 8.5 crores on Day 1, which makes it the fourth biggest opener of the year, only below films like Agneepath, Housefull 2 and Agent Vinod.
The word-of-mouth is mixed, but the film should hold strongly at single-screens for the entire week. At multiplexes, Monday will be crucial. We expect the first weekend to be around 26 crores (8 crores on Saturday, 9.5 crores on Sunday)
As for Emraan Hashmi, after ‘Murder 2’ and ‘The Dirty Picture’, he has now firmly established himself as one of the biggest crowd pullers in the country.

I remember that I didn’t like Emraan in his first movie Murder.. but by the time and watching his films, started to like him.. loved his roles in Jannat, Murder2 and in The Dirty Picture. He’s a good talented actor and must go high step by step.
