Race 2 suspense revealed! Jacqueline Fernandes has been roped in to replace Sonakshi Sinha in Race 2.
There has been a lot of speculation as to who will feature in the sequel to the Abbas-Mustan thriller Race. Previously, Race 2 was postponed to accommodate Deepika Padukone who had earlier opted out due to date problems. As a result Sonakshi Sinha had to step out, as her dates conflicted with the sequel to Dabangg which also goes on floors at around the same time.
Producer Ramesh Taurani is happy to have the Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandes on board. Reportedly, Abbas-Mustan were keen to cast her in Sonakshi’s role, when Jacqueline opted out of Rakesh Roshan’s superhero movie Krish 3.
Race 2 is finally out of all the hitches. The cast of the movie is finalised – Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ameesha Patel, John Abraham and Anil Kapoor. The producer says Race 2 will go on floors in November and release by the end of next year.
