Jab Tak Hai Jaan has opened to a record-breaking response in Pakistan. The film has collected PKR 93 lakhs (54 lakhs in Indian rupees) on it’s opening day (Friday), which includes the preview shows on Thursday.
The other release this week, Son Of Sardar which released in Pakistani theatres on Tuesday collected Rs 23 lakhs on it’s opening day (no preview shows).
Jab Tak Hai Jaan went past the previous record held by Don 2 in Pakistan.
Salman Khan’s last release Ek Tha Tiger, also produced by Yashraj Films, was banned in the country.
