Sketches of Shahrukh Khan’s look in Rahul Dholakia’s ‘Raees’ are out. The superstar is seen sporting a beard and thick spectacles.
There are also reports that the film is based on the life of Abdul Latif, Gujarat’s biggest gangster who was also an associate of Dawood Ibrahim.
Since the entire story is based in Ahmedabad of the 1980s, the city was recreated in Mumbai’s Filmcity.
Shahrukh began shooting for the movie last month. Raees also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. and Nawazuddin Siddiqui.
The film releases in theatres during Eid 2016.
