Brothers has opened well at the box office, but the multiplex business has been below-the-mark in the first two days and that trend has continued on the third day too. The word-of-mouth is mixed and given its genre, the family audience might not come out in big numbers to watch the film Monday onwards.
As part of #IndicineLBO predictions, we expect Brothers to end with lifetime box office collections of Rs 100 – 105 crore. Our final prediction for the film is Rs 103 crore.

Brothers release only in 3500 and bb release around 4500 screens 1000 screens make a lot of dIFF. First see ur faces on mirror and then compare. Salman jai ho everybody knows. Shahrukh gets his big opening from ra.one and chennai express. Akshay rowdy is way ahead before this all releases. So better go and wipe khan ass and lick there assholes
Disappointing.. This figure should be targeted in the first week itself but seems like it may struggle to do 100 crore.. Never thought that it will collect only this kind of total in its entire run..for me, brothers has been by far the most disappointing film of 2015 at the box office

Lol i can see how salty akki fans is :P Saying that because BB had more screens that is why i earned more but ignoring the fact that it had hard competition by Bahubaali. So even if it had more screens it wouldn’t matter since it had hard competition. While Brothers has no competition right now ( you can count bb and Dirshyam but those are only taking 1-3 crore). The point i am trying too make is that without any competition it still fails too grab good money.
But still if you wanna say BB had more screen that is why it earned more. OK then explain too me how Ek tha tiger(3300 Screens) had better opening than Brothers (3500 screens)? Both were released on and near Independence day. The difference is that Ek Tha Tiger released on Wednesday while Brothers released on Friday. So the obvious happened Ek Tha Tiger figure dropped quite a bit because it was Thursday and Friday. And later picked up on Saturday and Sunday while Brothers is having the opposite effect. Brother collection is going downwards instead of up. Now isn’t that a shame akki fans :P But overall it still did better than Brothers and it will STILL be better than brothers collection.

I am a Salman Khan fan and I most certainly will not bash Akki if the film was good, but in an earlier comment I stated it was too must violence not good for families, great disappointment, as well people are getting tired of the same oh same Akki starrer, he needs to sit back and examine why the films are not been like, and go back take two steps backwards and come forward with new ideas.
