The trailer of the last film of 2015 has been released. The industry now gears up for the biggest clash of the year as Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale and Ranveer Singh’s Bajirao Mastani are both scheduled to release on 18 December.
Since both films are releasing on a normal Friday, it’ll be interesting if the combined collections of the two films can beat the record set by Dhoom 3 in 2013. D3 collected Rs 36.22 crore on its opening day, which was a working day. The combined screen-count of Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani will be higher than Dhoom 3, and the two films could be targeting business in the range of 35-40 crore on Day 1.
We expect Dilwale to lead, as the SRK starrer is not only the bigger film of the two, but it should also get around 30% more shows at multiplexes. Our initial prediction for Dilwale after the trailer launch of the film is Rs 25 crore and for Bajirao Mastani it’s Rs 11 crore. Final predictions will be published on 17th December i.e a day before the two films release.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is currently trending at Rs 41.8 crore, final prediction will be made tomorrow. The other two major releases of the year are Tamasha and Hate Story 3. Check out the table below.

Believe me dilwale will not cross 20 crore it cannot beat BM why even with all SRK doing his manipulation and bribing to get BM postponed it won’t work. BM film date was given first but SRK knows this but is still doing his underhanded tricks why can’t he be just honest for one day in his life. He is so use to manipulate things it is now a permanent part of his character. People if you can’t follow honesty and you keep following him when he falls off his pedestal you ‘ll fall with him

@The Beast “Killed” The Phenom BM is much bigger film than Haider but not like OUATIMD, Dilwale hardly get 3k screen not expecting more than that
