The trailer of the last film of 2015 has been released. The industry now gears up for the biggest clash of the year as Shah Rukh Khan’s Dilwale and Ranveer Singh’s Bajirao Mastani are both scheduled to release on 18 December.
Since both films are releasing on a normal Friday, it’ll be interesting if the combined collections of the two films can beat the record set by Dhoom 3 in 2013. D3 collected Rs 36.22 crore on its opening day, which was a working day. The combined screen-count of Dilwale and Bajirao Mastani will be higher than Dhoom 3, and the two films could be targeting business in the range of 35-40 crore on Day 1.
We expect Dilwale to lead, as the SRK starrer is not only the bigger film of the two, but it should also get around 30% more shows at multiplexes. Our initial prediction for Dilwale after the trailer launch of the film is Rs 25 crore and for Bajirao Mastani it’s Rs 11 crore. Final predictions will be published on 17th December i.e a day before the two films release.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is currently trending at Rs 41.8 crore, final prediction will be made tomorrow. The other two major releases of the year are Tamasha and Hate Story 3. Check out the table below.

One thing is for sure since ”Dilwale” is a Shah Rukh Khan’s film it will surely collect well, and 2 decades disasters fans ( like aliens, body guardians ) shouldn’t be surprised, should run away if Dilwale collected more than their 2010 born tiny-stars’ solo films .
Still i don’t want clash to happen, SRK don’t need to clash, he has faced countless clashes, he has done clashes be it with salman, aamir, akshay, Hrithik, Amitabh, Govinda, Ajay everyone & has clashed & beaten each and every of them, some of them accepted like salman who always did..
Neither i want any other clash with SRK’s film since it is the worst thing ever happened to SRK.
KKHH : Would be way bigger hit now if it wouldn’t have faced clash..
JTHJ : Would be a blockbuster ( without clash ) not a superhit..
Don : Would have opening record,couldn’t break opening & weekend record,missed with some cr.

@phrnkm I dont need to wait. I am 100% confident and betting that opening will struggle to cross 20 Cr. Srk has lost his audience and had no chance to compete with aamir and Salman. Opening will not cross 24 Cr. I am getting on this. You better wait for next month and will get a slap on your face.
A few days back the Hyderabadi mechanic predicted 60cr opening day for varunwale. Now most of loongiwala are predicting 30cr/35cr opening day. Little confused whom to believe whom to not!!!

kya farak padta hai openning number se movie acchi honi chahiye. ye bollywood aur fans ko pata hi nahi chalta ki kya dekhna chahiye happy new year ka 1st weekend collection jabardast tha and baad main kya hua. content achha hoga to movie chalegi mujhe bajarangi bhaijaan nahi dekhni thi but for extrmly positive response push me to theater openning number se kuch nahi hota lifetime collection WOM to dekho. isiliye shayad itna jabadast career hone k bavajud srk ki all time block buster movie bahut hi kamm hai. wo super star hai isme koi shak nahi par wo sirf hit super hit tak movie de sakta hai uske aage nahi. i m salman fan but still i must say before 2009 srk is much better actor than salman. but nowadays salman improve very much on script selection becoming serious about his roll. both prdp and dilwale depending upon wom. both film will be blockbuster for sure kon si film ATBB hogi wo abhi nahi bol sakte
