Now that the trailers of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil are out, it’s time to the start the ‘IndicineFBO’ prediction of the two films.
Earlier, both films were scheduled to release on the Republic Day holiday which would’ve probably meant the combined collections of the two films could’ve crossed the Rs 40 crore mark. But with both makers deciding to release their film a day in advance to take advantage of the night shows before the holiday, we believe around 30-31 could be divided between the two films on the opening day – assuming Filmkraft Productions’ decide to go for a full-fledged release on Wednesday (25 Jan).
Kaabil is the smaller film of the two films, both in terms of star-cast and budget. The lead actors of both films are returning after box office failures – FAN tanked at the box office in April, while Mohenjo Daro was one of the biggest disasters of Hrithik Roshan’s career.
We start with 18 crore for Raees and 12 crore for Kaabil as the initial FBO prediction. The table below will be updated once every two days, a lot could change in the next few weeks depending on the response to the music album and promos.

I have seen Kaabil trailer in movie theater , came across as “touchee feele” kind of movie. Raees on the other hand seems more engaging and dynamic.

Only thing I liked about Raees trailer is Srk’s deadly look. Otherwise nothing interesting.

well i will be honest !! raees has the perfect trailer it doesnt reveal many things unlike kaabil,sultan and dangal which showed the entire movie in the trailer itself !! so definitely its better than every other trailer but i doubt raees will cross 200 crore but 180 crore seems achievable and kaabil can never cross 100 crore i m sorry hrithikians but with an outstanding movie like airlift akki managed 120 crore with airlift so there is no way hrithik can manage 100+ crore with kaabil and that too in a clash agains raees !!

Raees is going to take boxoffice with storm. Fdfs definitely. My prediction for 1st day is 20 plus crore.
Now after watching the trailer I can say Raees is going to win the battle.
Though I’m the greatest actor of the world megastar salman khan fan, Raees will win this battle for sure.
But but creating records is impossible for Raees hardly this movie can earn 150-175 crs.
Some idiots were claiming this will beat sultan they forget to take their pills.. 300 crs is a rocket science for srk.
