Rakesh Roshan and Anurag Basu, the producer and director (respectively) of Kites seem to have finally agreed on something.
Talking about his film Anurag said the reported steamy scenes in the film will be included both in the Hindi and English version. Everything including the visuals would remain the same, just a few song and dance numbers would be missing in the English version for the International audience.
It would be interesting to see if the film could clash with Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots (directed by Rajkumar Hirani) which also could release in December, although there are rumors that the film has been postponed to next year. Foolishness on part of the producers, but wouldnt it be great for the fans? Hrithik Roshan vs Aamir Khan – the two perfectionists of Bollywood, can’t get bigger or better!
I hope they leave all the song and dance routines in the English International version. That’s why I like Hindi film industry movies. Don’t short change us! You would be surprised how many people want all the music.
