Hrithik Roshan Mountain Dew
Bollywood superstar Hrithik Roshan has been roped in as the Brand Ambassador of PepsiCo’s ‘daring drink’ Mountain Dew.
Talking of Hrithik’s association with the brand, Ruchira Jaitley, Category director, PepsiCo India said “We are proud to associate with Hrithik Roshan, who truly reflects the daring, bold and fearless persona of the brand and its consumers. He is a true embodiment of the brand’s philosophy of ‘Darr Ke Aage Jeet Hai’ and we are thrilled to have him onboard. With his love for all things extreme, Hrithik is the perfect fit for the brand and will take its philosophy to a whole new level. We look forward to a blockbuster summer and are confident that this partnership will be mutually rewarding”.

Sources within the industry say, PepsiCo will be working closely with the Roshan’s to promote their Blockbuster Diwali release Krrish 3.
In the recent past, Salman Khan was associated with Mountain Dew, a contract that ended in December 2010.

Salman ended his contract with pepsico’s ‘mountain dew’ because they simply weren’t willing to pay the astronomical money he demanded for the contract renewal (somewhere near 8 crores), meanwhile pepsico’s biggest rival coca-cola signed him up for the mega ‘thums up’ deal(as per some unconfirmed sources the deal is no less than 10 crores). And for your kind information, within one year, both salman & pepsico managed in making ‘mountain dew’ the india’s fastest growing brand in its category. Mountain dew opted for a much cheaper but highly effective star who has the ‘brand-effectiveness’ of the megastar salman, so it is hrithik roshan. Thank god they didnt take srk warna ‘mountain dew’ tho kya log tho cool drinks peena bi baand kardethe. Lol…
