Few days ago, we had reported that acclaimed writer-director Kabir Khan had finalized Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor for his next film titled ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
Now, we hear that the ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ director has locked the script of his film that will go on floors after ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. And if sources are to believed, Kabir has roped in none-other-than Hrithik Roshan for the film.
The yet-to-be-titled film will be a passionate love story set against a historical and political backdrop.
According to sources, Kabir and Hrithik met a few weeks ago and discussed about the film. Hrithik liked the script and gave his dates to the director for 2015.
“He loved the script and has given the nod to the film since he hasn’t done a love story in a while. Kabir finalised Bajrangi Bhaijaan while he was shooting Phantom and now he’s finalised Hrithik for this as-yet-untitled film” a source revealed.
The lead actress of the film hasn’t been decided at this moment but Deepika Padukone is the leading contender to romance Hrithik for the very first time.
The film will be produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his home production ‘Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment’. It will go on floors in July 2015.
The official announcement, along with the tentative release date, is likely to be made soon.

@Anand – Look kid, even if you were born in 1760, you know nothing. Yes, Salman’s debut film was a huge hit, but Salman hardly got any role after it, it was the actress, Divya Bharti who took away all the limelight away from him, even Salman himself has said that he was “jobless” after his debut because of above reason. His father had to ask from a studio to cast him in their next movie. Compare that to the craze Hrithik got after his debut, its not even close.
I do appreciate movies like Khamoshi, I didn’t hand pick or bash a single Salman movie, he’s given many great films along with some bad ones. Overall, he’s already one of the biggest superstars ever, bigger than Hrithik. See, I give credit where its due.
Hrithik can pull off the Chulbul Pandey character, as can Akshay, Ajay or Varun. Maybe, they won’t suit in that role as Salman does (Salman is good as Chulbul, but not award worthy), but they can pull it off, unlike Salman in KMG, Guzaarish and Jodhaa Akbar. Radhe Mohan? These character perfectly suits on Salman, and what makes you think that others can’t pull it off? Even if he can’t, that doesn’t make him a worse actor than Salman, because he’s done much more challenging characters to perfection. Now, please don’t name any brainless movie like ‘this’ comedy or ‘that’ comedy, I can’t imagine Hrithik in brainless films.
Hrithik’s performance as Prem in MPKDH was praised by critics despite of film’s failure, do some research before posting anything.

Yes, Salman is a BIGGER and more popular star than Hrithik today, but Hrithik is a much better actor who can also make and break some temporary BO records and is a superstar along with Khan trio, that’s what I meant.
