Housefull 3 has started strongly on Sunday, as business at both single-screens and multiplexes have shown good growth in occupancy for the morning shows.
The key for Housefull 3 would now be to sustain the level of business throughout the day, as business for the late night shows at multiplexes will drop.
The previous film in the series ‘Housefull 2’, jumped by 3 crore on Sunday from Saturday. If ‘Housefull 3’ witnesses similar growth, then the film could cross the first day business of ‘FAN’ and record the highest single day collections of 2016. The target will be to cross 19.2 crore and get as close to 20 crore as possible. That would ensure a healthy first weekend total of around 51 crore.

Indicine said yesterday also that housefull 3 has good growth on occupency. But the growth is just 7%. Today also same case. They said good growth on occupancy but will not cross 18 cr. They also said that wom is positive and now said wom is not negative but also not positive as housefull 3. I am sure they will say after some days wom is negative.

The expectations for this film were very high,105cr it will have underschieved,i guess the search for Akki’s first 150cr film is still on.
