Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3 is now the highest grosser of all time ahead of Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express. The film has collected 228.34 crore in 15 days (including all versions) at the box office, beating the previous record of Rs 227.1 crore set during Eid earlier this year.

The Hrithik Roshan starrer is still going steady in Week 3, but business at multiplexes was severely hit by the outstanding start that Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela has taken. It remains to be seen if the Hindi version of Krrish 3, which has collected around 215.5 crore, can go past the lifetime business of Chennai Express.

Noone can beat srk…Chennai express crossed 200 crores with tough compitition from akshay kumar by tooking almost 1500 screens n other films released every other week but the power of king khan made it possible…but krish3 had two full weeks but cannot even cross 200crores in its lifetime…such a shame on a very high budget movie…koimoi website owned by komal nahta clearly mentioned why krish3 will be called just a hit HIT as it hardly double its investment. So hrithik is just a kid infront of Srk!!!

My prediction finally came true. SRK’s Chennai Express couldn’t retain its record for more than 2 months. No wonder SRK is losing his no.1 position since 2008. By the way, Salman Khan had some stomach pain problem so he needed a medical break which forced him to shift shooting of ‘Jai Ho’, otherwise this year would be of Salman. Anyway I am proud and happy for Hrithik fans. Eagerly waiting for another record breakers Dhoom 3 and Jai Ho. Thanks for publishing this article.

A production house like filmkraft and Yashraj distribute their movies on their own… they dont take help of any intermediate houses like UTV or EROS… So it becomes more and more difficult for Trade analysts to know the exact collections bcoz the producer mite have alloted a screen in some remote city which might not be even considered by other distribution houses…k3 released in around 4000 screens… that includes several smaller centres … In our state many theatres in extremely smaller towns which always show regional language movies had released k3… So is is feasible to think evn that a boi or any other trade site can track that!!!???? It all may seem as manipulations but no one can give the exact figures other than the producers…..In case of the distribution houses like UTV it gets easier for trade analysts and hence there is a lot more accuracy…

What a shame..even Indicine themselves posted an artical couple of days back regarding manipulated figures of Krish 3 and BOI collections..the wrote estimated collections of krish 3 as 182-183 crores. Very next day they jumped to 206 again..now I am sure BOI FIGURES ARE THE TRUE ONE and Wikipedia confirms that..these sites like indicine koimoi and others are just manipulated..these critics take money from producers to manipulate but best Site Is BOI or wiki or even IMDB does not conform these manipulated figures..for CE even BOI SAID IT EVENTUALLY BROKE 3 idiots record…shame on all such sites..
i expected much more from krish 3 because its a high budget film where ce budget just 65 cr. If 65 cr film can do 226 cr business, than it should definetly do 300 cr business. Hope it will score 250- 270 cr.
