Emraan Hashmi’s Hamari Adhuri Kahani has taken the 13th highest opening of 2015, which is poor because the film had a decent multiplex and single-screen release.
The first day collections is lower than films like Bombay Velvet, Ek Paheli Leela, Piku, Tevar and others, but higher than Emraan Hashmi’s last release ‘Mr X’ which was also produced by Vishesh films.

HAK released on 1250 screens and JW on 2100 screens. HAK has defeated JW just with the help of single screen and outskirts town audience while JW target audience was high ticket multiplex audience.
The basic reason behind emran hashmi failure is that the media doesn’t support him, critics also don’t support him. Even if his movie is good, critics will bash his movie. This is what happened with Shahid kapoor as well . Media didn’t support him. But after his latest success and his award winning role in Haider has boost his career. I hope something like that happens with emran hashmi. And critics will stop being biased.

Awarapan is the best film of Mohit Suri. It received average ratings but it was one of the most loved cult classic films and still it is remembered one of the best romance thriller films..
I loved HAK .. Hope people identify with it as i felt i am in the same situation in my personal life… Aarav Ruparel is lost and there is something very haunting in his eyes..
I loved murder2 also .. It gave me goosebumps when i saw the film at night.. The end when he ends up kneeling at church while unfortunate death of the Call-girl at the hands of eunuch was quite terrifying…
But somehow i felt Aashiqui2 and ek villain lacklustre..
Ek villain lacked the thrill and was devoid of any emotional connect..
In Aashiqui2, During whole film ARK used to get drunk and shraddha used to come to hug him.. It was bit repititive throughout the movie..
