Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty will now have to wait a little longer to see themselves on the silver screen for the first time. Their debut film ‘Hero’, which is the remake of the 1983 film of the same name, has had its release postponed by almost 3 months. The original film had Jackie Shroff and Meenakshi Sheshadri in the lead.
The reasons for this are two; firstly, the actual release date which was 3rd of July is falling at the time of Ramzan, which is a period during which Muslims avoid watching movies. Secondly, right after that on Eid, Salman Khan releases his much-awaited film Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Directed by acclaimed director Nikhil Advani, ‘Hero’ will now release on the 25th of September 2015.

Yes u are right. I am totally agree with you in the month of Ramzan 90% peoples here in Pakistan are avoid to watch Tv program except cricket or football.
And I think there in India millions of peoples in Muslim community are ignore to watch the movies specially going to theaters.
It is foolish thing that release your movie in the Ramzan.

I didn’t expected directors like Nikhil Advani will direct these kind of films that also actor/actresses like this talentless star kids.neither faces looks good nor their attitude and yiu know what,I knew this film will be a flop or hardly will be average by chance not due to only low grade acting but also due to low quality productions that produced c grade films like ready dabang2,jai ho etc..
