Hate Story 3 releases in theatres tomorrow. The pre-release buzz is missing, but that’s only because not many are willing to openly admit that they want to watch Zarine Khan and Daisy Shah at their hottest best.
But like it or not, sex sells in India and the two films in the series ‘Hate Story’ (2012) and ‘Hate Story 2’ (2014), opened well at the box office.
There are some in the trade who believe the film could take a 10 crore plus opening and others, who disagree, feel the film won’t collect more than 6 crore on Day 1 at the box office.
A ’bold’ film like Hate Story 3, deserves a bold prediction. We are going with Rs 9.4 crore as the opening day collection of Hate Story 3.
Since Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is nearing the end of its successful run and Tamasha has underperformed at the box office, Hate Story 3 is getting plenty of shows at multiplexes. Box office is unpredictable and films like ‘Hate Story 3’ can surprise by taking a better opening than other big films.
