Hate Story 3 Box Office Opening

Hate Story 3 has opened to a very good response at the box office on Friday. The opening at multiplexes was in the 20-25% range and single-screens at mass centres have recorded much higher occupancy of 50% plus in the morning.

The opening is better than ‘Hate Story 2’ which released in theatres in July last year and went on to collect Rs 5.1 crore on its opening day.

The poor performance of ‘Tamasha’ has resulted in exhibitors allotting plenty of shows for ’Hate Story 3’ at multiplexes.

T-Series has also ensured that the erotic thriller has the widest release for a low-budget film in recent times. In fact, Hate Story 3 has released on 20% more screens as compared to a big film like Tamasha – which had a very limited single-screen release.
