Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan turns 51 today and right from the time he set foot in the industry, he has been its biggest success story. A star who remains an inspiration for thousands of strugglers who hope to make it big in the industry. Ask them and they’ll tell you, it’s Shah Rukh who inspires them the most.

It’s incredible how the ‘Chak De India’ star has sustained his stardom at such a high level for all these years. Most actors in the industry go through phases in their career when their fans and paying-public desert them, it’s happened to the biggest of them, but Shah Rukh’s career has been different. His failures are still bigger than the successful films of many actors and his fan-following has mostly remained intact.

    This is bcoz he did less films than his competitors…. If he had done more films, he would have more flops too……

    u r saying his failure is bigger than other’s successful films… I mean u r saying HNY, Dilwale his failures then which r his successful films ???!!! only one CE! then how a actor with only one successful film can be a top star ??? lol even Ranbir have 2-3 successful films… according to u and srk fans logic RK is better than SRK…!!!?

  • This is a birthday wish not to the star but to the common dilli wala who had the courage to break the norms. The man who broke stereotypes, pushed the boundaries of success and mega stardom to a whole new level and yet did not forget his roots.
    They all call you anti national but they just hatin’ , cuz you the man who’s constantly slayin.
    From baazigar to fan you always stole the show , one or two flops won’t be a big blow. Don’t listen to critics do whatever you want because you have earned the right, others might be earning more but you ain’t going down without a fight.
    SRK you defy all rules of being a star that is why we all love you. You might be 51 but you still have for us you’re timeless.

  • and yes he had only 3-4 successful years 2004-2008 but everyone say him consistent lol… according to Indicine logic and his fans logic…. if these years aren’t as good as earlier or currently he is going through bad phase (2009-2016), so how is he consistent throughout his career ?! he started doing films after 1990s. he had many flops aand disaster before DDLJ and after that too but he is consistent he is in industry for 25 years and last 6-7 years (from 2009-2016) are bad phase for him and facing failures according to indicine logic then how is he consistent ?! 6-7 years are enough to call inconsistent. … (I know why indicine called srk’s biggest hits as failures, bcoz to show him superior that his failures are bigger than hits of some actor, by saying this everyone will imagine that “oh if his failures are bigger then what about his successful films ?!!” but now this logic won’t work.)
