Happy Bhaag Jayegi has collected Rs 2.32 crore on its first day at the box office. The film took a slow start on Friday morning, but gained momentum evening onwards.
The first day business is poor, so the film has to show big growth in business both on Saturday and Sunday to have any chance of recovering costs. It’ll be difficult because Rustom is on a fantastic run. The Akshay Kumar starrer was the first choice on Friday and will be leading throughout the weekend.
When compared to the first day collections of other films in 2016, Happy Bhaag Jayegi makes it to the 29th spot.

love court room seen & special judge performance in Rustom.
Considering the music was uninspiring, they should have released the trailer only 15-20 days before release and promoted it with more vigour. This movie had the potential to open 4+, and that would hsve put it in a much better position on day 1 itself.

After a big flop and negativity… still SRK has the no 2 spot of opening day in 2016 I’m an srkian and loved sultan and every film of every actor I don’t know what is the mindset of people on srkians I don’t abuse other actors . Yeah they are some but they only deserve is our ignorance.. I went to watch sultan first day first show. I request every body that you chose your own star but kindly show some respect and positiveness on man who ruled the industry more than a decade and is the biggest star overseas. If I start writing the thngs he did and the records he has it will take the whole day . I supported akshay in 2014-2015 when his films didn’t do too well. I’m not saying to support him but please don’t spread more negativity on person who’s having a career low. And believe me guys with raees , imtiaz, anand rai. He is coming back . Yes we know that the choice of his films are not as good as before but he makes films for us . He is the 2nd richest actor in the world he doesn’t need money .. so kindly respect and love all as it’s not an industry it’s a family.

Raees bhi SRK ne pehle book ki thi.. but SALMAN ne bhi book kr li . Ma snatch ka word use nai Kru ga kio k SALMAN has made eid an event to release films and SRK backed off . But SRK ne eid pehle book ki thi . Aur sir ap dekh Lena ye clash avert ho jae ga bcoz dono clash se guzre ha and dono abhi clash k form ma nhi ha . Let them decide hope for the best !
