Gunday has collected Rs 12.63 crore on its second day at the domestic box office, as per figures released by Yash Raj Films. The 2 day total is Rs 28.75 crore, which is slightly below-expectations after a phenomenal opening day of Rs 16.12 crore.
The film witnessed drops in the range of 20 – 30% across all circuits, with significant drops at both multiplexes and single-screens.
It remains to be seen if the film can better its opening day business on Sunday. The advance booking for evening shows is decent today, but morning shows in quite a few centres that we tracked was lower than Friday.
We expect the first weekend business to be around 45 crore net.
Gunday Box Office Collections
- Friday – 16.12 crore
- Saturday – 12.63 crore (22% drop)
- 2 day total – 28.75 crore

SRK bakra fans who are abusing Akki here wait for Hny.Akkians will have revenge and you will hide in caves in fear.
emraan hashmi rocks.
@floppy SRK or shahid would suit kung kong better. What happened to shahid? he cant even touch 30 crore. pathetic actor shahid. Better become spotboy in movies.
@khiladi no srk fans have abused akshay, you don’t wanna keep this attitude towards us.
@aeey good luck for holiday, hope it breaks rowdy rathor record.cheers…!!!
oh the overdose of emran hashmi.
@khiladi pls don’t talk bad about other actors. Our hero Akshay doesn’t practice that and does not like fanwars
@aeyyy okay bro. just gave a tit for tat.
Gunday means Galiyon ka laonda ! Galiyon ka laonda don’t smash all khan….
@khiladi mind your language.Acting of Akshay in the trailer looking terrible.do have respect for others.
@khiladi yeah sometimes we give a tit for tat and sometimes let it go
As I expected, Sunday should be around Friday’s collections, it will struggle to cross Friday’s numbers but may just cross it.
@Pjp I think you need a reality check. The trailer almost all people are praising Akshay’s action and fresh look.Try to bring it down,it will shock you
@aeeyy I am praising the movie.I like Akshay but his acting is terrible in the trailer. That’s reality.
Holiday will be a blockbuster for sure but I am not sure how crores it can earn. Probably 180-200!
If imran hasmi is superstar then sunny leone is megastar.
Ranveer>>>>>>>Aamir
@Pjp Is the movie out?How can u say Akshay’s acting is terrible
Akki>>>>>srk>aamir>salman>hrithik> >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>emraan>>>imraan>>>>>>>>>shahid in terms of box office
@Navo das I hope now u sleep well
@Utpal now you want to be a big pornstar like sunny
@aeey go and have close look at the trailer and akshay’s face.
Will someone please explain why holiday is being discussed so much on Gunday’s article? Anyway I apologise on behalf of SRK fans to Akki fans if some trolls are disguising themselves as SRK fans and trolling Holiday. But there is no hiding the fact that this trailer is not as good as Thuppakki trailer. Except Akshay there is nothing of the same magic in it. Sonakshi as heroine, poor Background music and not having Vidyut Jammwal as the villain is bad enough to spoil the film. Considering that Akshay’s last few films have failed to cross 70 crores, hope the film does well. The good part is the film will have good story, action and thrills.
@Pjp I think you need to be diagnosed and also need reality check.Maybe your IQ level is also very low
@pip akkians have watched each and every scene and loved it.
Gunday(Hit)>talaash(Flop),dhobi ghat(disaster).
Ranveer>aamir
@aeeyy,go home u r drung
@X Vidyut Jammwal is a good action hero but not a good actor
That is what you people said about rowdy rathore trailer. Moreover,we dont expect SRK fans to like it.
Why are srk fans insecure about other actors?
Wait for your HNY,everything will be perfect, trailer will be mindblowing,300cr+
Pls dont predict Akshay starrers for us
@X we don’t need you people to like it and don’t predict anything for us
btw I am a proud SRK fan.I hope HNY will chase and beat holiday not dhoom 3.
sonakshi will have limited space. And it is out n out akshay movie . And guys wait for 6th june
Kick-350 crore,hny-350 crore,pk-92 crore(same as talaash-disaster)
