The nominations for the Golden Kela Awards 2014 to honour the worst performances and movies of the year have been announced. Surprisingly, no top actor except Ajay Devgn for Himmatwala has been nominated this year. Instead, some of the year’s critically acclaimed performances by Aditya Roy Kapoor (Aashiqui 2) and Ranveer Singh (Ram Leela) have been nominated in the Worst Actor category.
Deepika Padukone finds herself in the Worst Actress list for her South Indian act in Chennai Express. Sonakshi, Shraddha, Sonam and Priyanka are nominated too!
Himmatwala and Krrish 3 have received the most number of nominations (5). Rakesh Roshan and Rohit Shetty have been nominated in the Worst Director category. Tum Hi Ho finds a mention in the ‘Most Irritating Song Of The Year’.

In my opinion all of the these worst awards should go to Zanjeer and Himmatwala and their makers.
I think these awards can be harsh. Nobody makes a film with the intention that it is going to flop or be completely panned by critics, even masala films.

Being a SRK fan I think Chennai Express & its all star & staff deserve winning all categories But I would like atleast Golden Kela awards for Worst Actor should be given to SRK for Chennai Express. SRK deserves it.

Instead, where are Ranbir (Besharam), Shahrukh (Chennai Express), Katrina (Dhoom 3), Sunny Leone (Jackpot), Tamannah (Himmatwala)?!?!? And this is just the Lead Actor category!
