Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s wife Gauri Khan has lost her father Colonel Ramesh Chibber.
There are reports that Chibber, who was admitted to a city hospital in the national capital, passed away at around 9PM on Tuesday (1st March).
Shah Rukh, who was shooting for one of his upcoming films ‘Raees’ in Mumbai, has rushed to New Delhi to be with Gauri’s family. He has said in the past that he is extremely close to his father-in-law, who agreed to get the couple married much before Shah Rukh made it big in the industry.
The on-going shoot of Raees has been put on hold for a couple of days.
Family friend Karan Johar tweeted “Death is the only reminder of Life…”

Many people here are saying that he is Salman’s fan. I just picked that up.
But the point here is not that, it’s okay if he’s Salman’s fan, but to disrespect someone who has passed away (especially a soldier who is ready to give his life for our safety) is unacceptable.
R.I.P. his soul. feeling sad for her loss.
R.I.P colonel Ramesh Chibbar.
@Back off India, you are such a hypocrite who cracks such cheap, derogatory joke on someone’s death and then portray yourself as very honest and nice person. you moron, use your brain before making such comment on some one who just left his body recently and show some pray for him rather than making fun in such a cheap way. no need to apologize after you kill a person, he won’t be alive again. so rather than apologizing after making such cheap mistake, think 100 times before making such comment.
@Fan from USA you jerk, at least keep some control on your brainless attitude and give some rest at least on someone’s death who served for the army and did for the nation. stop making your bandwagon about srk at least here and respect his father-in-law who is no more.
