Yesterday, we published an article predicting the winners of the Filmfare Awards 2016. And like always, we like looking back to see how many we got right.
The top categories were spot on, while the likes of Nawazuddin Siddiqui (Best Supporting Actor), Varun Grover (Best Lyrics) and Ankit Tiwari (Best Playback Singer Male) missed out on winning the Filmfare award.
The accurate prediction has been marked in green and the incorrect ones marked in red.
Best Actor in a Leading Role (Male): Ranveer Singh – Bajirao Mastani (Winner – Ranveer Singh)
Best Actor in a Leading Role (Female) – Deepika Padukone – Piku (Winner – Deepika Padukone)
Best Film – Bajirao Mastani (Winner – Bajirao Mastani)
Best Director – Sanjay Leela Bhansali - Bajirao Mastani (Winner: Sanjay Leela Bhansali)
Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Male) – Nawazuddin Siddiqui (Badlapur) (Winner: Anil Kapoor)
Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female) – Priyanka Chopra (Bajirao Mastani) (Winner: Priyanka Chopra)
Best Music – Ankit Tiwari, Meet Bros. Anjjan and Amaal Mallik – Roy (Winner: Roy)
Best Lyrics – Varun Grover – Moh Moh Ke Dhaage (Dum Laga Ke Haisha) (Winner: Irshad Kamil)
Best Playback Singer (Male) – Ankit Tiwari – Tu Hai Ke Nahi, Roy (Winner: Arijit Singh)
Best Playback Singer (Female) – Shreya Ghoshal – Deewani Mastani (Bajirao Mastani) (Winner: Shreya Ghoshal)
@Challa how dare you to blabber rubbish against the greatest actor and legend all rounder baadhsha of acting and ace of perfection mega Salman? Mega Salman is the most talented greatest actor of Indian cinema. No one can match him in acting. Why his films like ready, bodyguard, ek tha tiger, dabangg, dabangg2, bajrangi bhaijaan, prem ratan Chan payo, kick are blockbusters? Because people love and respect this greatest all rounder actor called mega salman. Mega salman overshadowed none actors like srk, ajay and aamir in films like karan Arjun, andaz apna apna and hum dil de chuke sanam. While those none actors were looking like nothing in front of mega Sal. Only mega Salman was the reason for the success of those films. His classic natural acting makes even bad films like wanted, bodyguard as classic and blockbuster.

awards are fare ….kangana got crtic best actress award.and deepika for popular….and for your information best actress critic is greater than popular award….popular award are given among top actress but critic award given to overall performance…that’s the reason srk got. critic award only for 2 times and popular award for 8 times …bb has good script nothing else …look at nwaz acting in it too overacting then how can he win bm will conquer in national.award.also as no one can beat slb film in those
