Bajirao Mastani swept the Filmfare Awards 2016 by bagging 9 awards in total. Ranveer Singh won the Best Actor Awards, Sanjay Leela Bhansali was declared the Best Director of 2016, it also won in other categories for Best Film, Best Actress in Supporting Role (Priyanka Chopra), Best Action, Best Costume, Best Production Design and Best Playback Singer Female (Shreya Ghosal).
The other big winner of the evening was Shoojit Sircar’s Piku, which won 5 awards including yet another Best Actress award for Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan walked away with the Best Actor (Critics) trophy, Piku was also adjudged the Best Film by the critics.

Even before the theatrical release of BM, a lobby of Salman fans declared it a masterpiece. A magnum opus, which comes once in a decade (yes, they had created such kind of environment, though it was more of their hatred towards SRK than the love towards BM or Ranveer).
And I was waiting for this day, because these double standard fanatics don’t need anyone else to expose them. They, themselves are enough. :D
I can see many comments floating around in the comments section calling FilmFare as “FilmFake” (and I expect many such comments coming soon).
So my question to you all double standard creatures is, even though SRK didn’t win these awards this time, why you are calling it as fake? Aren’t you the same bunch of people who declared BM as masterpiece even before it’s release?
Aren’t you the same people who called Ranveer a perfect actor and SRK, a non-actor post the release of Dilwale and BM?
So if you were so fond of “class” and “performance” that time, why don’t you all happily accept these results?
BM is a masterpiece and Ranveer is a perfect actor as long as it serves your campaign towards SRK, but once it starts conflicting with the likes of your idol (Salman in this case), you will start sobbing.
