Here’s our prediction for the 59th Filmfare Awards 2014. There are likely to be quite a few more categories like the critics awards for Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Film, Scene Of The Year, Jodi Of The Year etc.
Earlier today, Filmfare released their list of nominees. Out of those, here are who we think are the leading contenders to win the Filmfare awards this year.
- Best Actor - Farhan Akhtar (Bhaag Milkha Bhaag)
- Best Actress – Deepika Padukone (Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela)
- Best Film - Bhaag Milkha Bhaag
- Best Director - Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra (Bhaag Milkha Bhaag)
- Best Actor in a supporting role - Rajkumar Rao (Kai Po Che)
- Best Actress in a supporting role - Supriya Pathak Kapur (Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela)
- Best Music - Ankit Tiwari, Mithoon and Jeet Ganguly (Aashiqui 2) / Pritam (Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani)
- Best Playback Singer Male - Arijit Singh – Tum Hi Ho (Aashiqui 2)
- Best Playback Singer Female - Shreya Ghoshal – Nagada (Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela)
- Best Lyrics - Prasoon Joshi – Zinda (Bhaag Milkha Bhaag)

@TS, stfu, who was talking about dhoom 3? there were movies like Lootera, lunchbox, shahid, kai po che and special 26 which were deserved to be in nominees instead of chennai express and even YJHD.
hahaha i am very happy by seeing the nomination of Fake fare awards, because last year when they nominated critically acclaimed movie for best film category, i was surprised and thought might be Fakefare awards is slightly improving but with nomination of this year list, i am pretty sure they won’t be change and always remain fakefare awards, just only praying that awards should given to farhan,deepika,BMB,Rakesh Omprakash mehra in Major awards.
@nipun very funny can’t stop laughing choice is very difficult b/w Hr and Farhan for best actor category, basically you said you are 18yr old and in this age teen agers going to be adult so its their mindset that they agree which only they like nothing more matters for them, all i can say be mature at right age unless won’t beneficial for you in your real life.

srk should have won the best actor award
Filmfare ignores aamir and his movies again, i request every dhoom 3 ,katrina and aamir fan to watch dhoom 3 again, even these biased ppl won’t be able to deny the box office trending of dhoom 3.
srk is the best ever actor in bollywood.he had won more awards than any other actor.
@khan kapoor, even I agree that all the movies you mentioned were more deserving than ce. You can just say that and leave it there. You don’t have to criticize ce or srk for that.
@damnn:i willn’t accept that.HR’s performance in k3 is the 2nd best performance of the year after farhan.k3 is a hard work of 3 years.hro has played 3 roles in a movie.i got tears at the last moment of the movie where rohit gave his life for his son.he was delivering all the dialogues very innocently like he said “krrish tum apne ap ko kabhi akela mat samajhna” and etc etc. .his performance was way challanging than srk and Rk’s role.
@aks:i felt that.i feel HR’s performance is the 2nd best performance of the year.on another page i found that u think HR didn’t deserve for D2. Then who was deserving that year? ? ?Sanjay had a simple role in LRMB and so had amir in RDB.not only in filmfare,in almost all functions HR won for krrish.so it was hr who won all awards for krrish and d2. Saif was good in omkaara.but d2 was d2.HR took the dhoom series to a much higher level.his style,charm,acting,eye connection,chemistry with aish,dance everything impressed audience.HR’s performance in dhoom2 is the best role of dhoom series.although i wanted amir to get a nomination for d3.do u think dhoom is only about intese role? ?no. .it was his over all performance in d2 who gave him award.the other most deserving fellow were hr for krrish and saif in omkara.

Points 2 and 6 are identical just like Sahir and Samar were identically brrrilliant in the movie…! Guess you missed that due to excessive brain hemorrhages as a result of you foolishly getting punched consecutively to the head without reply during sparring sessions. Enjoy Chennai Depress as its a nice simole slow 3 hr train journey so you wont need to use any logic there which is perfect for you as theres not much logic left inside your already quickly emptying skull…!
@damnnn… first time i liked your comment,it doesn’t matter what others think,but both Ce and D3 collected huge amount and that verdict given by Common people,personally i liked Ce and i said this even when it broken 3i record,i said it deserves all records except 3i lifetime collection as its content lack compare to 3i. @nipun from first day since d3 released you said K3 is more critically acclaimed movie than d3, which critics you talking about because as per Indicine reviews meter D3 has 64/100(from total 25 critics) and k3 has 61/100(out of 28 reviews).and as i learn from maths 64% is more than 61%,isn’t it. No movie is overrated neither d3 or ce, as it loved by audience and its collection speaks that worldwide.only 2 thing is overrated 1.you think yourself very smart and Hr biggest and best actor and 2. K3 overrated collection. I like hr and not want to say anything bad for him and his movies but somehow you force me to say so. You don’t have any right to give you rating to well received movies ce & d3.
If Filmfare awards was only for SRK why he doesn’t win award for best actor for Don 2 and Jab Tak hai Jaan? Really you hatters have to say something more logic not the same stuped thinks.Anyway he deserved to be nominated for CE and CE is wonderful movie,not only sweet comedy….but I also think Farhan will win this year……Can’t be Amir Khan sorry :D
@nipun enough!!!!you said a lot.it’s our turn now.according to you rohit3 is great movie right?in which rohit did time to time overacting.crapiest overactor mr.manipulator roshan and manipulator papa saved due to red chillies which made the manipulator a super hero.lekin hrfans jiska khayenge uske pet main laat marenge.while watching krrish3,meanwhile after seeing kangana,many are left hall away due to overacting of rohit3.now give them to a big award to rohit for passing sunlight through him.many critics give the collections of rohit3 are below 180cr and yjhd.now again papa and his boy convincing everyone that everyone is feeling jealous at our success.really,they are real life actors.
@nipun,if SRK couldn’t get filmfare award that is not the big deal.because he is 17th time filmfare winner.he will sure get it next for FAN,RAEES.can hr achieve that?

@nipun Rajeev masand is not a best critic. He only likes hollywood flicks. And give great rating for movies which is critically acclaimed. You are asking why d3 got 4 or 5 rating. What was special in k3 as the same critic rated 4 and 4.5 star to k3 too,is superhero and supervillain like krish and kaal is logical. Have you can assume the kind of fighting happening between them logical,is d2 was logical.how you can called ce and d3 overrated. @aks:ce is definitely overrated bro.filmfare and screen nomination is best example of it.about d3,it was my opinion.the illogical things were clearly visible.i liked d2 and d1 more.about k3,i was happy that a well developed superhero film has come.and 3 idiots is my all time fav movie .so i never insult amir.though i degrade d3 sometimes. And as you have said that teenagers mind aren’t always constant.so i agreed that i did some mistakes. So Sorry!

how can you even think to compare an actor who did two different characters such superply,the high level stunts & so much hard work with
the character who just running here & there through out the film & by spreading hands repeat one over rated dialogue ‘dont under estimate the power of a commoman ‘ atleast 50 times in 150 min film.
@nipun agree for Akshay Kumar he deserves for Special 26 and he is the most underrated actor in bollywood when its comes to award ceremony. He was awarded for Singh is king in 2009 in an award function don’t know about award show name but he clearly said that Aamir for Ghajini is actually deserving for that year. It shows the guts to speak truth for deserving person. Though that year even Hr for JA was strong contender and he won same for most awards too.
People can forget their favorite stars but cant forget to mention SRK in their comments……….friends popular choice awards and nominations depends on online voting,if srk leads in polls then why to criticize srk????????then criticize the audience who vote for SRK………………….
And we are srkians ,and always will vote for srk as we know his worst performance is even 100 times better than the rest………………
