Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN has recovered Rs 45.95 crore in its first weekend at the box office. The film, which was made on a budget of Rs 105 crore, has to collect about Rs 59 crore more from domestic and overseas theatrical share, to recover its investment.
While the India business of the film has been below-expectations, FAN has performed phenomenally well in the overseas market. The film has collected Rs 40 crore in its first weekend and will be 2016’s highest overseas grosser in just 4-5 days after release. The current highest overseas grosser is Kapoor & Sons with total lifetime gross collections of Rs 47 crore, FAN has collected 40 crore in its first weekend itself.

Srk fans are very funny now they are saying FAN was not made for B.O collection like really who mades a film of over 100cr and not expect profits in return like seriously.

Guys don’t know why but I have a feeling that no matter how low FAN will collect but Indicine will give it HIT Verdict or Semi-Hit verdict, after all Indicine is a big Fan of Srk…
He entertains overseas audience by doing MUJRA in roads. In return to that, overseas audience comes out and watch his “content rich” movies.
@ sweet heart- from story it is clear Gaurav has bigger role in fan so aryan’s role is short and srk can do this short role for yrf with very less fee and a new better theater actor can do Gaurav better without huge makeup, vfx, salary.

Chance tho tumhara gaya, agar WW ko add kiya jaye tho Jai Ho with 60 Cr budget and 180 Cr WW shud be called an All-time Blockbuster.
Now SRK has ran away from megastar Salman khan and is showing his so-called Star power on b-grader Ajay Devgan and flop actor Ranbir.
Beta dhum hai to clash with the real superstars Hrithik Roshan and Akshay Kumar or atleast with Varun Dhawan.
These are okayish collections but the Solar System collections will be even bigger once Pluto send in their ticket receipts…!
FAN is not for masses or for bluckbster its for classes. PLEASE people do not talk about box office for this movie. it is beyond that . a movie without songs masala dance comedy how can people of small towns of india almost half of population can understand this kind of movie.

@Agan, yeah and srk is so versatile that he always gives same arms spreading pose, stuttering voice and same over expressions. u are right, aamir is not as great over actor as srk. that’s why aamir’s performances in films like lagaan, RDB , sarfarosh, 3 idiots, ghajini , dhoom 3 ,pk , TZP can never match to srk’s Oscar worthy performances in epic masterpiece like maya memsaab, duplicate, chennai express, ra.one, jthj, happy new year,dilwale, etc.
When people come out of theatres and say that they wished Jabra song was there, then that means movie was pathetic and that was the only saving grace for it yet they left it out trying to do something different!!!
No one will remember this movie after 2 years…IF it will be remembered, it will be remembered as SRK’s attempt at plastic surgery…
To all fans saying it is a content movie that is why it isn’t working, just look at all the content based movies of 2015 and 2016…All the highest grossers are content based movies except for Dilwale which happened to be an anomaly…So this proves that audience still wants content-based movies and this isn’t one of those..
