After two teasers and one song (Jabra), the theatrical trailer of FAN is out. The film starring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead, has been directed by Maneesh Sharma – who has previously directed films like ‘Band Baaja Baarat’, ‘Ladies vs Ricky Behl’ and ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’.
For Maneesh it had always been a dream to direct Shah Rukh one day and the film is in a way a tribute to the superstar’s legacy and glorious career.

Thought It would be a masterpiece or a cult classic…But after watching the trailer I can say this movie is made for business not for a classic…

Probably it is a copy of the robert de nero film fan released in 2016 where a obsessed fan was insulted and did wrong things and ultimately get killed. Story is very predictable like darr and ajay devgan in deewangee.

The trailer confirms the fact that FAN is completely ‘niche’ film. Just because action stunts are great do not mean its a commercial film.
Do remember, Bollywood commercialism is very different from general definition in cinema world wide.
In Bollywood, Commercial films means MASALA film.
In order for FAN to be a commercial film, It must have Jabra song in the script when audience can whistle.
