FAN has become the first film in 2016 to make it to the ‘Highest Opening Day’ collections of all time. The film is ranked No 19 in the list, which is currently topped by Shah Rukh Khan’s 2014 Diwali release ‘Happy New Year’.
The collections of FAN is at around the same level as Ranbir Kapoor’s Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in 2013 and Akshay Kumar’s Singh Is Bling which released on the Gandhi Jayanti holiday last October.

As per early estimates, Shah Rukh Khan’s “FAN” has opened with a bang in the overseas market and collected approximately $ 2.7 millions ( Rs 17.93 crores) as on its first day ( including the Thursday previews). The film opened to fantastic collections in domestic market as well collecting Rs 19.20 crores.
Happy New Year collections are showing in all languages and PRDP collections only in hindi language its not fare indicine its manipulation

Don’t forget BB and Kick both released before Eid day, so they both are as good as a non-holiday release only. Moreover BB got a very tough competition from Baahubali.
