Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN was expected to easily top the first week business of Akshay Kumar’s Airlift, which collected Rs 83.5 crore at the domestic box office. But the film has fallen short by Rs 12 crore.
The Maneesh Sharma directed film has collected Rs 71.5 crore in its first week, behind Airlift and The Jungle Book.
In the all-time list of highest first week, FAN ranks No 42, finding a place in the Top 50.

Aamir is officially the baap of all khans, kumar, devgn amd roshan. No one can match Megastar Aamir khan in fan following and Megastardom.
@Terry, FAN is YRF production that’s why the collection are accurate no manipulation, (another example is ETT if YRF wants than it can easily manipulate 1cr and make it 200cr movie, actual collection 199cr).
But if FAN is made under RCE (Srk production) then definitely he will manipulate figures and make it at least hit movie just like he did at the time of HNY, Ra-one and others movie (In HNY 1st day collection there is a difference of 9cr which is the highest manipulation figure in the history of Bollywood). Just wait for Raees we will see huge manipulation again in figures….

Main Maanata hoon Fan ki saat thodi cheating hua. That’s karma. Compensation from some HNY or Ra one audiences accepted in the past. His last meaningful movie was MNIK to some extent if not all the way to Chak de India.
Srk will win national award
Srk and the makers of Fan has put a lot of hard work in this movie. I really loved it but i am failed to understand what’s wrong with Indian audience! They just want to see Srk in usual romantic roles like spreading his arms, dancing with actresses in a beautiful location.. No offence i love it too but ‘Fan’ is a movie where we can see that Srk is way beyond than just a romantic actor. He is a phenomenal actor! It’s really unfortunate that most of the audience is not liking it. I as a real fan of Srk respect him for what efforts he has put in this movie. People are liking it or not but it’s a masterpiece. The fact is that most of the Indian audience just wants to see masala tadka, items songs or just insane over acting!
@Aluthwidualiden : Not sure about opening because Sultan may release a day or 2 days before Eid day but in Life time collections it will surpass CE in any case if released solo. I accept your bet for both opening and Lifetime if Sultan releases solo on Eid day (opening day) and if releases on any other day apart from Eid it will certainly cross CE Life Time collections (domestic – 227 crs). Dont run away from Indicine or break your words after losing (like your idol) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
