Shah Rukh Khan’s FAN was expected to easily top the first week business of Akshay Kumar’s Airlift, which collected Rs 83.5 crore at the domestic box office. But the film has fallen short by Rs 12 crore.
The Maneesh Sharma directed film has collected Rs 71.5 crore in its first week, behind Airlift and The Jungle Book.
In the all-time list of highest first week, FAN ranks No 42, finding a place in the Top 50.

the main problem of Fan was its trailer.. If the main story between Aryan n Gaurav was kept secret in trailer then, the impact of movie would be like different level to the mind of Audiences. Because of its trailer, everyone knew the story n only wait for the climax which was major let down of movie.. N where is jabra fan song???? another stupidness of film makers.. Anyways, I am fan of trio khans. I watched their movies first day first show.. now waiting for raaes, sultan n dangal… LOTS OF LOVE FROM NEPAL….

85 cr +71 cr = 156 cr (verdict= superhit)
If manipulation is done like bang bang
85 cr + 42 cr = 127 cr ( verdict = hit)
If manipulation is done like singh is bling
85 cr + 20 cr = 105 cr (flop but lesser lose on investment)
