FAN had a huge crash of nearly 86% in its second weekend at the box office. The decline in business is unprecedented for a Shah Rukh Khan film, because even 2011’s Ra One collected Rs 9.65 crore in its second weekend, while FAN has collected just Rs 7.75 crore.
Even Jab Tak Hai Jaan in 2012 collected Rs 11.03 crore in its second weekend. The comparison itself is unfair because business has grown quite significantly from 2011-2012, what was decent then, is extremely poor now.
The downfall of FAN is not only because the film was completely rejected by moviegoers, but also because of the phenomenal run of The Jungle Book. The third Sunday collections (Rs 8.69 crore) of the Hollywood film was more than the entire second weekend business of FAN.
The Maneesh Sharma directed film has collected Rs 79.25 crore in 10 days, it will finish with net box office collections of around 85-87 crore in India.
For a film made on a budget of Rs 105 crore, the theatrical share from both India and Overseas will be less than Rs 75 crore. The recovery from the Indian market will be around the 45 crore mark.

Max 3.5cr people watch film in theater, out of 120cr people.. if any die hard bjp suporter hurt by srk intolerance statement.. then congress/aap supporter agrees with the statement.

Not considering Maaya Memsaab and Trimurti as those were mutlistarers but were huge boxoffice disasters.
I have huge admiration for both SRK and Salman (not as a die hard fan) but just as a person in normal because of their achievements. Even Aamir too.

No way FAN is going to make $13 million from overseas as it will be out from almost all the current markets by this week. Even if it gets released in other places the outcome will be very minimal as the major markets are already done and dusted.
Yes Hrithik’s best to date in overseas is Bang Bang I agree…but if you look at his overseas BO numbers it is on the rise by each movie…not on the wane like SRK…and I can see Mohenjo daro easily crossing Bang Bang overseas figures within a week of its release…so Hrithik is always making strides forward..not back.

It also showed a 50 year old man running around in a 10 year old girls body and doing stunts like he was batman
The same stunts were done by the 50 year old star as himself
