Lately, Emraan Hashmi has not had a good run at the box office. His last few films have been rejected by the audience, but Emraan would love to turn it around. For the same, the actor is trying his best to pull out the best he can of his upcoming film based on the life of former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin.
The actor has been getting regular batting practice so that he can copy the mannerisms of the cricketer. We already know that Emraan Hashmi is accompanied by Bigg Boss winner Gautama Gulati who will be playing Ravi Shashtri in the film.
Emraan shared a pick from the final schedule saying, “Costume trials for final shooting sched. of Azhar !!,”
Nargis Fakhri will play the role of Sangeeta Bijlani.

Azhar is not just a movie for Emraan it is an opportunity to strike back . There was a time when Emraan was extremely popular because of content, music, acting and erotic scenes . But in the last 3 years the music in his movies has been disappointing and erotic scenes now do not have so much Shock value . So with Azhar he needs solid content and a thunderous performance which will enable the audience and the critics to take him seriously . 13 th May is a good release date and the movie has generated good buzz . But the person who is promoting Azhar is digging his own grave if he is a genuine fan of EH . Because till the next year people will be irritated because of the same comment and that will lead to Indicine users avoiding the movie . Emraan is completly mismatch in azhar role. Azhar is away taller than emraan. I heared that azhar is taking interest in his biopic. He has done misinterpruite in story to show him good or done match fixing by some reasons. Bhag mika bhag is brillent biopic . Azhar biopic cannot match bmb 2% feet also as biopic should be. Even dirty picture will be 100 times than this in which he is supporting role. So azhar will be big flop of 2016.

it is not flop srk’s fan that it will flop.. Fan’s first look has been messed up and FAN will flop.
Azhar has the potential to shine at box office as there is not potential bollywood big film in MAY apart from X-men apocalypse on 27 and Captain america on 6th .
So AZHARUDDIN’s biopic will carry all the hype from IPL season.

Azhar looks more interesting than MSD biopic. And Azhar will be a hit and Msd flop as dhoni himself has charged 80cr for his biopic. And to recover d cost with flop sushant will b uphill task. Neeraj pandey film never carry good buzz n they r washout at single screens
azharuddin has not taken any fees to make his biopic. Although Dhoni is a reknown face worldwide. But i think if MSD wud have himself starred in his biopic, it would have collected more than it wud collect wid sushant.
Popularity wise Dhoni is miles ahead than Sushant, Azharuddin the cricketer n even emraan.
But MSD is just not the right person to be made a biopic on.
So i will go with azhar on 13th may 2016

I don’t see Azhar Airlift ADHM ironically all those beginning with letter A having any sort of A-distinction @ box office next year. It’s going to be another redefining saga for Aamir Shah Salman Ajay Hritik. Eemran has his last chance definitely having an edge over Ranbir and Akshay.
