The early estimates for the first 3 days are out and it’s record-breaking. Ek Tha Tiger has collected approximately Rs 58 crores nett, going past the 53 crore mark of Ra One (hindi version) – setting a new record for the initial 3 day weekend.
What’s been slightly disappointing is the collections on Friday, as the film was expected to sustain at a similar level as Thursday. But the all-India drop yesterday was around 15-20%, which takes the third day collections to Rs 11.5 crore nett.
Like we’ve said before, the next three days will be crucial. The Ramadan period will be over and muslim audience – where Salman commands a strong fan-following – should come out in huge numbers to watch the film.

I am neither a fan of Salman or Shah rukh but a Hrithik fan. However I wish to point out that Indicine is very bias as regards to its opinion especially when Shah Rukh is concerned.

Ett has a high jump on saturday as it collected 16crore taking it 4 day collection to 73 crore.
If sunday is huge(around 27-28 crore) then it can complete century on sunday which will be a record in 5 days beating bodyguard record of 100 crore in 7 days.
Record will be surely broken.
