Since the box office collections of Ek Tha Tiger dropped steadily on Thursday and Friday, after a record-breaking start on Wednesday, the trade and especially Salman Khan fans were anxiously waiting to see if the film picks up today.
The good news is, the evening shows had much better occupancy today, and the advance booking for the night shows (after 9PM) is very good, with several shows sold out in advance. Note: Only multiplexes, as we couldn’t track the single-screen business today.
While it’s still too early to give estimates, expect better numbers today – anything in the range of 14-16 crores nett. Sunday and Monday are likely to be huge.

@ghost 3rd day was higher because it was saturday and i remember collection were 13crore because friday was 11crore and its sunday was around 17crore. if dont believe me ask indicine. so ETT saturday is bigger which is 16.50 crores. Guys just chill. Ek tha Tiger is already a blockbuster. It has collected in 3 days 59 crores means after 5 day it will collect more than 90 crores + .. It will recovered its cost already by a huge margin with in 5 days itself . Boxoffice will decide the film is blockbuster or not .. we are not decide it. So, after 2 weeks the film will declare blockbuster. And Salman is second moviestar after late Rajesh Khanna will be given 4 back to back blockbuster.
