Ek Tha Tiger Advance Booking Update

The advance booking for Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger started last week and the trade was a little apprehensive about the response, as the makers haven’t really promoted the film in a big way.

But guess what? The advance booking is better than Khan’s last release Bodyguard. Several shows in big cities are already sold out for Wednesday (holiday for Independence day). The advance for the rest of the weekend is good too, as a few select shows for Sunday are already sold out.

With such a wide release and ample number of shows at multiplexes, tickets usually are easy to find for most big releases. But that’s not the case with Ek Tha Tiger, as a quick look at Bookmyshow, show that even morning shows are ‘filling fast’ and some of them already houseful.

The rise in ticket prices at select screens hasn’t affected the film either.

The makers are obviously quite happy with the response. Kabir Khan the director of the film, tweeted “Just been talking to the Yashraj distribution people… the advance booking is moving at a blistering pace… Please get your tickets fast..”
