Dum Laga Ke Haisha is set to emerge as the second hit of 2015, as the film was rock-steady on its 5th day at the box office. In fact, the collections on Tuesday was better than Monday, which is a rarity in today’s times. Most films that do not carry fantastic word-of-mouth, tend to show drops in the range of 10-20% from Monday.
Looking at the trends of the YRF film over the weekend and the first two weekdays, the Ayushmann Khurrana film could be set for a long run at the box office. There are no big releases this week and small films like ‘Dirty Picture’ and ‘Hey Bro’ are unlikely to make any impact on the business of Dum Laga Ke Haisha.

After a period of uncertainty and back-to-back disasters, the trade has some reason to smile as two consecutive films (Badlapur and Dum Laga Ke Haisha) have done reasonably well at the box office. However, the industry is still in search of its first universal hit of 2015, as no film has done well at single-screens this year.

BTW, I watched Dolly ki Doli yesterday. I loved the film and laughed a lot while watching. I liked the Dadi’s line i.e “Beti de di, sab kuch de diya”! Lol. But, I didn’t like the music. The title track was decent though. The two item no.s suck a big time.
When Rajkumar Rao and the guy of Fukrey were superb, pulkit samrat looked like a miscast. Sonam was better in Khoobsurat, here she delivers a decent performance.

This movie can not be called Queen of 2015 as Queen trended for 4 weeks while this is it’s first week. We must wait to give films Tags and Verdicts. I have heard that Badlapur has crashed and people are saying that it is still HIT, I do not understand as the maximum collection for Badlapur would be 45Cr which is less than what is required for HIT(45Cr) Anyways, Hats Off to Akshay,Ranbir,Varun and Ayushmann for trying out different types of cinema. Even though Ranbir was in a Romantic movie, he played the role of a thef which is quiet different.

Indicine i think trade just go bit quick in declaring badlapur as a hit because business go down very sharply even u also said that 50 crrs is on cards easily but now that was out of reach so the status should be above average
